There are few things that give me more enjoyment than sitting down with friends and family to play a good game of monopoly. Sadly these times are few and far between as nowadays people would rather get on their Xbox’s and call it up. Luckily for those of us who still miss the good old days, EA games has created Monopoly Streets, a digital adaptation of the original classic that gives gamers a whole new reason to race for park place and boardwalk.

Monopoly Gets a Makeover – Now Pass Go and Collect $2 Million Dollars
In honor of the 75th anniversary of the classic board game, Hasbro has finally released a new design for Monopoly. Set to debut in stores in the Fall, “Monopoly: Revolution Edition” takes a new “spin” on the traditional square board-game by making it circular. Instead of using paper money and a banker, users get to play with debit cards and an ATM, also there are clear plastic representations of the classic tokens (bye-bye, little boot!), and clips of popular songs (like Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” Daniel Powter’s “Bad Day,” and Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love”) that play after certain actions.

Monopoly for Wii Review
Lately, I have been really into timeless board games like Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit and Clue. There is nothing better than throwbacks to your childhood. Monopoly was not really on my list of games as a kid, but I’m pretty sure my not playing the game correctly had something to do with this, so I played with an open mind. Turns out, I was almost as confused with the Monopoly for Wii version as I was as a 6 year old fighting over who gets to be the Scottie dog game piece.
