The terrible twos aren’t much fun for anyone. Toddlers still haven’t learned how to be reasonable human beings yet, and they have to learn that they can’t just go to the bathroom whenever and wherever they want. So, any help for Moms and toddlers alike is much appreciated.
As always, there is an app for this. Actually, there are many apps for this. One standout app on our radar is called Kiddie, and it has been developed just for kids ages two to five.
The app is built around Kiddie, a monster toddler who, like your kid, is going about the business of discovering what this world is all about.
Through stories and songs, Kiddie helps kids learn about sleeping, eating, potty training, and ‘being sweet’ – and it has definitely been designed with the terrible twos in mind. Animations and sounds liven up the stories, to keep toddlers’ notoriously fickle attention locked in.
After those vital life lessons are learned, the app has reward charts for good behavior outside of the app, which is just a brilliant idea. There are also different themes you can use to change up the appearance of the app, and for the parents, there are teaching tips focusing on reading.
Kiddie is available now for iOS for free, and an Android app is also available on Google Play. It works on iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch!
