The Clumsy Case is a soft foam protective case for the iPad, but it looks like it could be furiously chasing a certain yellow chomper just as easily.
The case is made of soft foam with large, puffy edges designed to be easier for children’s hands to grip. The foam also means that the iPad will be fully cushioned in the event of a spill to the floor, which is more than possible when we’re talking about little ones. The 30-pin connector, headphone jack, and camera are all left uncovered. Those little bubbles you see on the side aren’t just for show – they help to conduct sound from the iPad’s speakers, so your audio doesn’t sound muffled.
Also, it looks like Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde have a new brother or sister, but considering the name, we hope he or she stays far away from Pac-Man, just in case.
The Clumsy Case is available in blue, green, and red, and fits the iPad 2 and the new iPad. You can chomp one up now for about $40, but it won’t ship until early November.
