The app is very simple, which should make it a delight for most toddlers out there. They’ll be presented with a variety of objects like ABC blocks or butterflies. Tapping on those objects will reward the little tyke with a funny sound (bonk!) or picture, which makes the app sound like a lock for countless hours of entertainment.
This is the first step for Red Wagon Software and founder Bill Brisky, a former Microsoft programmer. If this simple little app takes off, we can expect to see more from the fledgling studio, including more educational offerings directed at preschoolers.
Bonk! Bonk! is available for both the iPhone and the iPad. It’s selling for $0.99 on the iTunes App Store.
