Happy new year! Today marks the beginning of the lunar calendar, and for the Chinese zodiac, that means the Year of the Dragon is upon us. To ring in the new year, Mobad Games has released an app version of a kids’ storybook by Oliver Chin. The app is called Year of the Dragon in 3D, and follows a young dragon named Dominic who just wants to join a boat race in the village – much to the dismay of many around him, including his powerful parents.
The app is great for young readers, offering word-by-word highlighting, instant playback by tapping on words or phrases, and the ability to either read at your own pace or put the app on autoplay. Kids will be locked in thanks to plenty of interactive games and activities, quality narration, and music made just for the app.
Year of the Dragon in 3D is available for both the iPhone and the iPad off the iTunes App Store for $3.99.
