Stardoll, the online game and community that celebrates fashion, shopping, and (of course) dolls, is venturing out into the real world with the new Stardoll line from Barbie. The dolls are all inspired by the avatars on the website, with fashions straight from the in-game shops. Eight Stardoll dolls are available in stores now, including the Gothic chic Fallen Angel and the fashion-conscious Bonjour Bizou. In addition, five more dolls are slated to hit stores in 2012.
As with all dolls these days, accessory packs are available, which should keep the dolls fresh and fun for young kids. As an extra perk, each doll will come with a complimentary membership to the Stardoll website.
Each Stardoll by Barbie doll retails for about $21, with accessory packs coming in at $16.
