I know for me, Goodnight Moon was a childhood staple. It was probably the first book I was ever able to read by myself. It stands as one of the most beloved children’s books of all time. And now, it’s getting a 21st century update with the tongue-in-cheek Goodnight iPad, by the excellently named Ann Droyd.
Goodnight iPad is a lighthearted take on our obsession with gadgets, and a reminder that sometimes, we really do need to unplug. It’s a bedtime story for you, your kids, and your gadgets all in one. Not a bad deal, if you ask me. The storybook is out of stock on ThinkGeek right now, but more copies should be coming in soon. Once they do, you can grab Goodnight iPad for about $15. After all, your gadgets need just as much shut-eye (aka charge time) as you do!
