Heroism is needed in large quantities in the Monster Warrior App, now out for iPhone and iPad. Plus, you have the ultimate motivation to go out and slay those baddies – bunnies captured and in mortal peril. If that doesn’t get you going, I don’t know what will. Gameplay takes you through several spooky, Halloween-themed levels where you finger slash your way through wicked monsters, in your quest to defeat the evil witch and rescue all the bunnies she has captured, for whatever nefarious purpose.
The graphics are clean and vibrant, and the iPad version is an HD app. There’s a little bit of replay value here, too. You can play in four different modes – arcade, survival, freestyle, and task. There’s an online leaderboard, and the game itself is pretty tame and family friendly, so the young ones can get involved, too. Get into the Halloween spirit with a little Halloween-Easter crossover that’s sure to bring out everyone’s inner monster hunter. The Monster Warrior App is available on iPhone and iPod Touch for $0.99, and the Monster Warrior HD App is available for iPad for $1.99 from the iTunes App Store.
