But don’t worry, that’s a good thing! The crayon is actually the iColor Stylus, which will work with all iOS devices, letting your kids (or you) draw all over the touch screen. The stylus looks just like a crayon, and the results on screen mimic the crayon effect pretty well. It’s not clear whether or not there will be a drawing app specific to the stylus, but if you have any other drawing apps, it should work just fine with those. Those drawing apps will be a lot more satisfying for you and your kids with the control a stylus provides, especially when holding it makes you feel like you’re really about to get down and make some second-grade refrigerator-worthy masterpieces. The iColor Stylus will be available in October for $10.
