Albeit, not just a theme, KidDesktop is another Windows desktop alternative that is perfect to have set-up when kids are using a PC. Designed for ages 3 to 7, KidDesktop features a customized start screen and personalized activity bar with games and Web sites; the option to download and view pictures; and the ability to navigate the Internet in a safe working environment. The design of KidDesktop is fun and icon based so it that it’s very kid-friendly. The software lets parents configure and control time limits for how long their kids spend on the computer, as well as the ability to control approved and non approved web sites and what they can or can’t print and / or download.
