Barbie’s 125th and 126th career announcements made a big splash this month, when it was announced that Barbie’s latest careers included a news anchor and a computer engineer. But if you were wondering what Barbie’s first 124 careers were, here is the complete list.

These aren’t quite the techiest dolls around, but they’re so unique that we must mention them. The Barbie Ladies of the 80s series includes the Debbie Harry Doll and the  Cyndi Lauper Doll. The Debbie Harry Doll comes with a mic and is the first doll in the 80’s collection. It’s scary to think that while we were playing Barbies, these singers were just starting their career- and now they are the Barbie Dolls! Both dolls retail for $34.99 each and are available soon.

Barbie is looking to her fans to decide what her next major career should be. There are five choices to vote for – an architect, surgeon, environmentalist, news anchor, and best of all – a computer engineer! It’s pretty obvious who we are going to be voting for.

Barbie and the Three Musketeers Little Learner Learning Laptop -  All for One, One for All! is similar to the Barbie B-Smart Learning Laptop. Neither is a full fledged laptop but they offer educational and fun games on Laptop shaped devices. Big and colorful game buttons, A-Z keyboard and carry handle. The Little Learner teaches fundamentals such as numbers, colors, shapes, and more and retails for $24.99.

We always knew Barbie was a Diva but this Power Wheels Barbie Cadillac Escalade Custom Edition really takes the cake. This model is similar to the Power Wheels Signature Cadillac Escalade Limited Edition, however the Barbie version is in Barbie’s famous pink color. It also has room for two kids, sports doors that operate as if it were a real car, and it comes with a sound system that plays real FM radio.

After 50 years in the spotlight, our favorite doll is finally going to get the red carpet treatment she deserves. Universal Pictures has announced that they are going to make a live-action Barbie movie. The family-friendly film does not have a script yet but there is reportedly no shortage of plot possibilities, since as we all know, over the years Barbie has gained experience working in over 120 professions.

Ok, so this technically isn’t a techie type product, but we’re so taken with this new set of Barbie furniture, that we have to mention it. Mattel has teamed up with Jonathan Adler to produce a Room Pack.  The pack includes a pink sofa, pillows, and blanket. Granted at $58.00, this costs almost as much as Barbie’s Dream House, but consider this a collector’s item. The Barbie Jonathan Adler Room Pack is currently available for pre-order and will be released this month.

Oregon Scientific has a new Barbie “Laptop” coming out aimed at getting girls to have fun while learning. Although the system isn’t a full fledged computer, this is a great and affordable starter system for young kids. The system even comes with a matching mouse and mouse pad. The Barbie B-Smart learning laptop comes with a total of 80 games, 70 of which are in English and 10 that are in Spanish.
