It’s time for the Disney princesses to take a backseat for a change. The critters are taking over the castle in the Disney Princess Palace Pets app, which lets kids care for the private pets of all their favorite leading ladies.
In the app, kids can care for the pets of six different Disney princesses – Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Aurora, Rapunzel, and Belle. They’ll be able to raise and groom each little critter, before outfitting them with all the royal accessories they deserve. Once the pets have been done up properly, kids can take photos of their precious pets and share them.
Of course, kids can play with all the pets, and there are even mini-storybooks included detailing how each of the princesses came to meet their new best friends. Those storybooks feature original artwork and animation, plus story narration and character voices.
And, if you take a trip down to your local toy store, you’ll probably find that these loveable pets have hopped into the real world, too. In addition to the app, there are figurines, plush dolls, and playsets featuring the pets.
