PBS has released its first augmented reality game, Fetch! Lunch Rush, on the iTunes App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch. Based on the popular kids’ show, players will help Ruff Ruffman feed the cast and crew on the set of his new movie. The augmented reality part comes into play with printable cards that can be placed all around the house. Kids take orders from the cast and crew, scrambling to fill them as fast as possible. The games works on early math skills and algebraic concepts while the kids run around frantically trying to get the right sushi to the right people – a workout for the brain and the body.
Happily, it won’t be a workout for your wallet – the Fetch! Lunch Rush App is free now from the iTunes App Store.
