Paint and Learn Lite, from Alpha Web Plus, is an app for the iPad that provides connect-the-dot and coloring pictures for kids of all ages. The whole process is led by Smarty, and perky feline helper that kids should get a kick out of. Connect-the-dots can be done with numbers or letters, to help teach counting and the alphabet.
Unfortunately, the lite version of the app is very limited – only one picture can be completed before the user is prompted to purchase the full app (which costs $2.99). This will probably be as frustrating for kids as it will be for you, so keep that in mind. Paint and Learn Lite is free, and is available now from the iTunes App Store.
