DSC0507 300x225 VTech Launches MobiGo Handheld Gaming System The VTech MobiGo is an innovative handheld that also offers touch-screen technology with a full tactile slide open Qwerty keyboard. Perfect for those parents who are not ready to commit to a Nintendo DSi.

We got to spend some time with the MobiGo and I have to tell you we were sucked in. The Shrek game was lots of fun and the ease of use is perfect for kids for any age. It is also very durable and will come in both pink/purple and blue/yellow.   I also liked sliding the keyboard up and out it seemed like it withstood it pretty well. The touch-screen was also very intuitive. So if you feel if your child is not yet ready for DSi but is still nagging you for something that is a handheld system, the MobiGo may be the way to go if you are looking for a  fun yet just a tad educational device. There will also be a diverse assortment of games available for the MobiGo too: Ben 10, Disney Fairies, Dora the Explorer, Shrek, Toy Story 3, NASCAR, and more.

MobiGo Touch Learning System is for Ages 3 to 7yrs and will retail for $59.99. Expect it to hit shelves and online retailers around August.
