lexibook laptopWhy parents would buy the Lexibook Laptop for their kid is anyone’s guess especially since there are so many more sophisticated notebooks/netbooks for kids on the market now. The Lexibook Laptop originated in Europe and is now available stateside at Toys ‘R’ US. It features a Windows CE 5.0 OS, 400Mhz processor, 64MB Ram, Windows Media Player, and 50 installed games. Aesthetically it looks like a Florida orange. The Lexibook Laptop retails for for $269.99 and if you splurge for an extra hundred bucks you can buy a netbook that isn’t outdated out of the box – your child will thank you.
